The Wolvix Control Panel is a suite of system configuration tools written originally for the Wolvix LiveCD distribution. It also includes an easy-to-use LiveCD installer. In Ultima Linux, the WCP is used as the primary installation method (starting with Ultima Linux 8.1beta2) and may also be known as the Ultima Control Panel (about the name).

Description
The WCP was first ported to Ultima Linux for the Ultima 8.1beta2 release. It is not available in previous releases. Although the LiveCD installer is its main attraction, it also includes several other components, which can be used to simplify various system setup tasks.

Technical
The WCP is written in Python using PyGTK. The version included in Ultima Linux has been heavily patched; major changes include:
- Modified to run on AMD64 systems
- Tweaked to work with Ultima LiveCD code
- Removed features not included in Ultima
- Re-branding for Ultima Linux LiveCD
