Compatibility notes

Slackware documentation

Most external documentation is based on Slackware Linux, the distribution from which Ultima Linux was originally derived. As a general rule, information applicable to Slackware should work fine with Ultima Linux; however, some aspects such as installation and differ between the systems, and local information (on this wiki) should be preferred to external references.

Generic Linux/UNIX documentation

No guarantee whatsoever is made of compatibility with Ultima Linux.
