Ultima Linux Documentation Wiki:Basics

This page is an official policy on the Ultima Linux Documentation Wiki.
Please follow all guidelines on this page when editing other pages on this site.

This is the basic information you need to know before you can start editing the Ultima Linux Documentation Wiki.

1. All articles must be about an Ultima Linux-related topic. Articles which have no relevance to Ultima Linux WILL BE DELETED.
2. Articles must be kept reasonably G-rated; this is a community site for a serious project, so try to keep a fairly professional tone when editing. (See no. 3 for more information)
3. We need good, clear information, not double-speak and nonsense. If you can, try to read "Politics and the English Language" so you'll know what we mean.
4. Some pages cannot be edited except by a site administrator – more information is available on Project:Protected page. If you think you see something that could be improved please discuss it on the appropriate talk page.
5. For security reasons you must have a valid username and password to edit this site. Click here to log in or create a user account. This is primarily to prevent spam posted by anonymous users. You do not need an account just to read pages.
