MPlayer

MPlayer is a popular open-source movie player. Ultima Linux includes MPlayer, its graphical interface GMPlayer, and its video encoder mencoder in the XAP series.

The MPlayer package included with Ultima Linux can play most video formats, including Windows Media, QuickTime, and other proprietary file types. There is also a plug-in (included in the firefox-plugins package) which allows MPlayer to embed directly into Firefox to play video files from Web pages.
