How you can help our project!

• We need new documentation on this wiki – browse around and try finding nonexistent pages (they look something like this). If you know anything on the subject, please post it! In particular, information about software packages and how-to guides are very useful for new and experienced users alike.
  • Try to copy the formatting from existing articles, including the categories (for example, [[Category:Packages]]). This makes it easier to find information, and gives the wiki a more professional appearance.
  • You can copy information from Wikipedia or other Web sites with free licenses such as GNU GFDL or public domain. If you do this, PLEASE CITE YOUR SOURCES.
• Also pay attention to existing documentation. Most of what we currently have is a mess; pay particular attention to stubs, short articles urgent in need of expansion. Major topics like Installation deserve especially strong attention.

Other things you can do

• We're still testing the new site design. If you find any bugs please post them on Meta. Chances are there will be quite a few.
