Überpage is a lightweight, open-source content management system, or for those of you who don’t speak marketing BS, a tiny but really awesome program to run your Web site. Among other features:

Überpage is designed primarily for sites which need the flexibility of dynamic page generation without the bloat of a full content management system. (Read: “Users who hate manually editing every single stupid HTML page in their site whenever they redesign something but don’t want forums, blogs, really really slow pages, or funky URL’s that break their existing scheme”.) It was originally written to make life easier for its developer, whose homepage at the time consisted of a bunch of ugly static HTML pages, and is now most famously used to power the Ultima Linux.com site (and, of course, this one). It may not work at all for anyone else, since it’s essentially a program for us, by us, but who knows, may as well put it up anyway, right?
Note that Überpage comes with absolutely no technical support!
The design used on the Überpage site is the same design as Ultima Linux.com. It uses valid XHTML 1.1 and (mostly) valid CSS, and works in most popular browsers, including Konqueror, Opera, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. Because it is part of Ultima Linux’s visual identity, the design is not available for public download; however, we can create a similar design for your site, for a nominal fee of course. E-mail martinultima AT gmail.com for details.
